We are seeking a skilled and professional Interpreter to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will facilitate effective communication between parties who speak different languages, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation.

• Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services for various settings, including conferences, meetings, and legal proceedings
• Accurately convey spoken messages from one language to another, maintaining the speaker's tone and intent
• Prepare for assignments by researching subject matter and terminology
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during interpretation sessions
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure smooth communication flow
• Adapt quickly to different accents, dialects, and speaking styles
• Stay updated on cultural nuances and current events relevant to the languages and regions of expertise
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple assignments

• Fluency in at least two international languages, with native or near-native proficiency
• Bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field
• Professional certification in interpretation (preferred)
• Proven experience as an interpreter in various settings (conferences, meetings, legal proceedings, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in all working languages
