Looking for a Software Engineer to work with the Front Office Technology Group. The group is responsible for delivering mission critical applications used for Trading and Risk Management. The team works very closely with traders, risk management, financial engineering, platform services, and operations. The systems employ Java, C++, Python, and web technologies across a heterogeneous distributed environment.

Responsibilities:

-The Software Engineer will design and develop software components.

-The Software Engineer will deliver and support software into the production environment in a timely and robust manner.

-The Software Engineer will collaborate with developers on other teams.

-The Software Engineer will partner with support teams to ensure that the software is easy to manage in a production environment.

-The Software Engineer will assist in developing requirements and propose solutions.

Qualifications:

-3+ years of financial industry experience.

-Relevant work experience in Java.

-Experience in Java UIs a plus.

-Experience in C++ and/or Python a plus.

-Experience with multi-threaded and distributed programming.

-Experience with Linux.

-Working knowledge of Windows.

-Highly motivated to understand complicated workflows and produce high quality solutions.

-A love of problem solving.

-Strong analytic and design capabilities, ability to work individually or in a team environment.

-Technical curiosity in learning and maintaining technical acumen.

-B.S. in Computer Science or related engineering fields.
