The Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our CCMR team, supporting the Practice Lead of the CCMR practice.

Key responsibilities in the role include: 

  • Diary and email management: Proactively managing the Practice Lead’s busy diary, workflow and inbox to anticipate priorities, protect time and keep matters moving efficiently.
  • Client and Relationship Management: Liaising with clients and other external and internal stakeholders, including organising client events, lunches and following up billing.
  • Travel and Accommodation: Organising travel, flights, and accommodation.
  • Document and Billing Management: Handling document and file management, monthly billing, and accounts reporting.

 

About You

As an experienced Executive Assistant, you will have a legal administrative background and you will also be/have:

  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience: Over 4 years of Legal Secretary/EA experience in a law firm, with previous support at partner level.
  • Proactive approach: You will anticipate needs, identify priorities early, and take initiative to ensure the Practice Lead is well prepared and one step ahead.
  • Commercial mindset: You will think beyond the immediate task, understand the broader priorities of the practice, and join the dots to help anticipate needs, solve problems, and keep things moving efficiently.
  • Sound judgement: You will use discretion, common sense and strong situational awareness to make thoughtful decisions, escalate issues appropriately and support the Practice Lead with confidence.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills, ability to build strong interpersonal relationships, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to adapt to new technologies, including AI.
  • Client Service: Commitment to providing excellent client service.
