Job Description
We have a unique opportunity for you to join us in a newly created Business Analyst role in our Architecture Strategy & Design Team that is part of the firm’s Technology Group.
In this role you’ll collaborate closely across the Technology Team, the Business Transformation team, along with stakeholders in all Operations functions. While you will work with these teams, your reporting line and accountability sit within Architecture Strategy & Design team.
About the role
- Document system solutions and prepare clear, high-quality functional specifications.
- Contribute to the development of user and system test plans.
- Work closely with stakeholders, development teams and technology team members to gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Support solution design by collaborating with technical specialists and stakeholders.
- Map and analyse business processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend optimised solutions.
- Produce clear, concise and comprehensive documentation, including project plans, functional specifications, process maps and user guides.
- Act as a key liaison between business units and the technology team to ensure strong communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Assist with test planning, test case development and user acceptance testing for software implementations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues early and recommend practical solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices to inform recommendations.
- Manage change requests and support the delivery of projects within agreed timelines.
- Prepare status reports tracking progress against milestones, as well as risks, issues, dependencies and resource requirements.
About you
- Three plus years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
- Proven experience gathering requirements and mapping business processes
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Experience working with stakeholders to understand systems, processes and business challenges
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in creation and execution of test plans from Unit to UAT phases
- Exposure to complex technology or transformation projects
- Curious, proactive and solutions-focused
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Motivated to learn and solve complex problems
- Comfortable working across multiple projects in a collaborative environment
