Job Description

Giant Pictures is looking for an undergraduate or graduate Digital Distribution Intern for its film, documentary, and TV content business.

Reporting to the Director of OTT Channels and Theatrical Acquisitions, this is an opportunity to gain career experience in a fast-growing company in a multi-faceted role at the intersection of film and technology. The person is this role should be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a start-up environment, where the ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously will be necessary. Ideal Candidate:

  • Passion for film and digital media distribution with the ability to successfully engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from clients to tech colleagues to business executives.
  • Facility with numbers, quantitative analysis, and data - expert proficiency with Excel spreadsheets is required.
  • Ability to communicate quickly and effectively is a must.
  • Creative experience including design (Photoshop) and video editing skills is highly desirable, as is experience with metadata and knowledge of digital video platform delivery workflows.

 

Additional Information

The internship is 4-6 months in length.  Compensation: $16.00
