Job Description

The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies across Ghobash Group and its subsidiary company websites. The role covers the full SEO spectrum: technical, on-page, off-page, local, content-driven, and emerging LLM/AI optimization. The Specialist works closely with the Senior Online Specialist and subsidiary marketing teams to drive qualified organic traffic, improve conversion rates from organic channels, and deliver measurable search visibility growth across all assigned properties.

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive gap analysis to build strategic keyword maps by service line, funnel stage, and subsidiary; identify high-value traffic and conversion opportunities
  • Execute on-page optimization across all subsidiary websites including title tags, meta descriptions, headings (H1–H6), URL structures, internal linking, image alt attributes, and body content for targeted keywords
  • Execute ethical white-hat link-building strategies, secure high-quality backlinks, conduct backlink profile analysis, identify and disavow toxic links, and manage local business citations to build domain authority
  • Perform advanced technical SEO audits covering crawl optimization, indexation control, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, redirect mapping, canonical strategy, XML sitemaps, robots.txt configuration, and schema markup (local, services, FAQs, structured data for AI retrieval); collaborate with developers to implement fixes, when required
  • Provide detailed content briefs covering word count, heading structure, semantic coverage, FAQs, and internal linking; edit and optimize existing content for rankings and conversion; align SEO strategy with AEO and GEO requirements
  • Monitor and report on performance via GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog; prepare weekly/monthly reports tracking organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rate from organic, local map pack visibility, backlink authority, technical health scores, and AI-driven search visibility
  • Optimize content for LLM/AI-driven search environments: structure content for conversational queries, align schema and formatting for AI retrieval, and develop strategies to improve visibility in generative search results (SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)
  • Manage Google Business Profile optimization, local citation consistency and local review strategies across applicable subsidiaries
  • Coordinate with the IT and web development team on technical SEO implementation, page speed optimization, WordPress theme/plugin compatibility, and CRO improvements; track and document all SEO changes and their measurable impact

Please note that this is an offshore remote position open exclusively to candidates currently based in India.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field 
  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience covering technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO disciplines
  • Proficiency in SEO tools including SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Google Search Console; strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, Core Web Vitals, and WordPress SEO (themes, builders, plugins, schema)
