Job Description

  • Develop, manage, and update BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM execution plans and company standards.
  • Perform clash detection and resolution using software such as Navisworks, Revit, or BIM 360.
  • Coordinate with other trades (architectural, structural, electrical, etc.) to resolve design conflicts and ensure integration.
  • Provide training and support to junior BIM modelers and engineers on BIM workflows and software tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical BIM coordination, preferably in construction or MEP industries.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Experience in clash detection, coordination, and resolution.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Dynamo, scripting, or automation in BIM workflows.
  • Familiarity with fabrication modelling and detailing.
  • Knowledge of COBie, IFC, and other BIM interoperability standards.
  • Certification in BIM or Revit (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).

Additional Information

  • Ability to work using modeling software’s such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )
  • Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks
  • Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
  • Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
  • Ability to use Microsoft office applications
