The IFS ERP Technical Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of technical consultants in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the IFS ERP system. This role involves managing technical projects, coordinating with business stakeholders, and providing technical expertise to ensure the ERP system meets the organization’s needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience with IFS ERP, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful ERP system management.

Job Summary: The IFS EAM Technical Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of technical consultants in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the IFS EAM system. This role involves managing technical projects, coordinating with business stakeholders, and providing technical expertise to ensure the EAM system meets the organization’s needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience with IFS EAM, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful EAM system management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of IFS EAM technical consultants.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

2. Technical Implementation:

• Lead the technical implementation of the IFS EAM system, including installation, configuration, and deployment.
• Develop customizations and extensions to meet specific business requirements using IFS development tools.
• Integrate IFS EAM with other systems and applications.

3. System Administration:

• Administer and maintain the IFS EAM system, ensuring optimal performance & availability.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

4. Development and Customization:

• Design and develop custom reports, interfaces, and workflows within the IFS EAM system.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for customizations and integrations.
• Ensure that customizations adhere to best practices and do not affect system integrity.

5. Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support to end-users and functional consultants.
• Resolve technical issues and provide guidance on system usage.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest IFS EAM updates, tools, and technologies.
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and technical issues.
• Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical roles related to IFS EAM.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or team leading role.
• Strong experience with IFS technical tools and frameworks, including IFS Developer Studio.
• Proven experience in system integration, customization, and development.

Skills:

•  Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with web services, APIs, and other integration technologies.
• Familiarity with IFS EAM architecture and technical components.

Certifications:

• IFS EAM technical certification or other relevant certifications.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with other EAM systems and technical consulting.
• Knowledge of business processes in industries such as manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or others relevant to the company.
