Job Description

As a System Administrator for FTS ERP implementation, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the ERP system infrastructure. You will ensure the system's stability, security, and performance, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting to maintain optimal system operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

System Installation and Configuration:

  • Install, configure, and maintain the FTS ERP system and related software components.
  • Ensure proper setup of servers, databases, and network components to support the ERP system.

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Monitor system performance and health, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups.

User Management:

  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access to the ERP system.
  • Implement and enforce security policies to protect sensitive data.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues reported by users.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to resolve complex technical problems.

System Security:

  • Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the ERP system from unauthorized access and threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Performance Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and performance improvements.
  • Implement tuning and optimization techniques to enhance system efficiency.

Backup and Recovery:

  • Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Perform regular backups and test recovery processes to minimize data loss risk.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ensure all system changes and updates are well-documented.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure the ERP system complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in ERP technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role, preferably with experience in ERP systems.
  • Previous experience with FTS ERP or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Excellent knowledge of database management systems, networking, and security protocols.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or similar are advantageous.
