We are seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Modeler to join our team. As an Electrical BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for electrical systems in various construction projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical designs are integrated seamlessly into the overall building design.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed BIM models for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.
2. Coordinate with project teams to understand project requirements and design intent.
3. Interpret 2D drawings, specifications, and other project documents to create 3D BIM models using Revit or other BIM software.
4. Ensure that BIM models accurately represent the design intent and comply with industry standards and codes.
5. Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and coordination issues.
6. Participate in BIM coordination meetings and assist in clash detection and resolution.
7. Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and assist in cost estimation.
8. Maintain organized file structures and adhere to company BIM standards and best practices.
9. Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry trends.
10. Assist in training and mentoring junior BIM staff as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler with a focus on electrical systems in construction projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other related tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) are desirable.

• Ability to work using modeling software’s such as (Revit, AutoCAD, Naviswork)
• Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks.
• Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field.
• Have fair knowledge on the MEP Electrical system components and uses.
• Ability to use Microsoft office applications.
