Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing a deep understanding of the street lighting luminaires available in the store, and applications.
- Preparing appropriate street lighting luminaires based on the requirements of the installation team, Providing accurate information about the products availability
- Monitoring stock levels of street lighting luminaires and coordinating with suppliers to ensure a smooth delivery. conducting regular inventory checks, updating stock records.
- Store Operations and Administration: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of consignment.
- Create and introduce best practice methods and or adjust existing processes accordingly, in collaboration with inter departments.
- Coordinates movement and expedites the flow of products from suppliers, in the warehouse and throughout the delivery to destination.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Coordinating and managing the transportation of materials from suppliers to installation teams.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and shipments using computer software and databases.
- Analyzing store data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Planning and coordinating logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Purchase Management or equivalent is required.
Additional certification or coursework in inventory control, or a related field.
Additional Information
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, preferably Familiarity with street lighting luminaires is highly desirable.
