7. Evaluates dimensions, equipment connections, and equipment performance including pressure profiles and off-design cases.
8. Provides equipment sizing and application support to project development or process.
9. Participates in material selection for equipment.
10. Resolves specialty related mechanical engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
11. Analyzes problems and determines critical factors for investigation.
12. Organizes and conducts investigations and analysis.
13. Participates in the development of new mechanical engineering methods.
14. Provides expert advice on design processes or construction methods.
15. Approves significant changes in specifications and plans, work techniques and materials.
16. Determines and schedules work priorities.
17. Prepares mechanical engineering proposals estimates.

1. BS in Engineering and registered as a professional engineer with significant experience of 10 years.
2. Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in mechanical (static/rotating equipment) engineering field on large to mega projects.
3. Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
