Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Administrator to support warehouse operations by handling administrative tasks, maintaining inventory records, processing shipping and receiving documents, and ensuring accurate data entry. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Process shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation in SAP.
- Prepare bills of lading, proforma invoices, packing slips, and other shipping documents.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, carriers, and other departments regarding shipments.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and assist with carrier inquiries.
- Schedule deliveries and pickups.
- File and organize warehouse documents.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Support the warehouse supervisor with administrative duties as needed.
- Maintain office supplies and ensure an organized work environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or office administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with inventory or warehouse management software, such as SAP, is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Basic math and data entry skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining office administration with warehouse operations and can keep records organized while supporting an efficient workflow.
Additional Information
Job Type: Hourly Operator position.
Monday - Friday, Monday - Thursday - 6:30am to 4:00pm, Friday 6:30am to 1:00pmWork Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with physical activity (lifting, equipment operation, standing/walking).
KPIs: Defined based on individual and team goals.
