Job Description


The Warehouse Administrative Assistant supports daily warehouse operations by providing administrative, clerical, and data entry support. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, communicating with internal teams, and supporting inventory, shipping, receiving, and office functions. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate warehouse and inventory data.

  • Prepare and distribute reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.

  • Use Excel to track shipments, inventory, schedules, and operational metrics.

  • Assist with shipping and receiving documentation, filing, and recordkeeping.

  • Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, vendors, and internal departments.

  • Organize paperwork, scan documents, and maintain electronic filing systems.

  • Support office supply ordering, timekeeping, and general clerical tasks.

  • Assist with resolving discrepancies in inventory, shipments, or documentation.

  • Provide administrative support to warehouse leadership and operations teams.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

  • Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 1+ year of administrative, warehouse, logistics, or clerical experience preferred.

  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.

  • Ability to create and manage spreadsheets, formulas, and reports in Excel.

  • Familiarity with inventory systems, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems.

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Basic math and data entry skills.

Additional Information

  • Job Type: Hourly Operator position.
    Monday - Friday, Monday - Thursday - 6:30am to 4:00pm, Friday 6:30am to 1:00pm

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with physical activity (lifting, equipment operation, standing/walking).

  • KPIs: Defined based on individual and team goals.
