Job Description

  • Analyze and resolve root causes of ongoing quality issues related to assembly, molding processes, and other supporting technical operations.
  • Provide regular technical status updates to the Production Supervisor, Head of Production Unit, and Head of Maintenance.
  • Plan production processes based on customer requirements, machine allocation, and press and mold availability.
  • Strengthen the technical capabilities of the team through hands-on training and development.
  • Repair or replace mechanical components such as brakes, clutches, gears, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, cams, seals, o-rings, bearings, and bushings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including gears, cams, seals, bearings, shafts, and motors.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot chains, sprockets, and perform basic alignment tasks.
  • Install and maintain various valves, including cut-off and pressure relief valves.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including cylinders and motors.
  • Maintain and service hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and related components.
  • Repair and replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines, hoses, solenoids, and flow control devices.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain air compressors.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or technical experience in a plastic injection molding facility.
  • At least 1 year of mechanical and electrical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in general preventative maintenance, ideally in the medical injection molding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the medical or food industry.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced operational environment, with frequent interaction with operators, technicians, and equipment.
  • Expertise in process troubleshooting and problem-solving for process equipment.
  • Prior experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and schematics.
  • Required to supply hand tools.

Additional Information

  • 12-hour shift on a 2:2:3 basis 
  • 6:45am - 7:15pm and 6:45pm -7:15am
