Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 380 employees. 

Job Description

  1. Manage the requisition process, including creation, posting, maintenance, and hiring decisions with support from site Head of HR.
  2. Screen applications, and source qualified candidates.
  3. Manage the interview process to include scheduling, preparing questions and other materials, and participating as an interviewer.
  4. Manage the offer process, including but not limited to understand salary ranges, other incentives available, start date, etc., with site Head of HR and Hiring Manager.
  5. Advise Human Resources department to ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  6. Collaborate with department/Hiring Managers to define hiring criteria with the associated Function Descriptions.  Utilize company’s Function Descriptions to determine the position responsibilities, as well as the experience and abilities, the ideal candidate will possess.
  7. Collaborate and create Function Descriptions for all newly created roles with support of Global HR, complete updates on active company Function Descriptions, as needed.
  8. Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process. Screen and route resumes, schedule interviews, conduct interviews, recommend qualified candidates to department/Hiring Managers for further interviews, conduct reference checks, present offers, secure acceptances, and send out rejection letters.
  9. Design sourcing strategies. Identify the most efficient and cost-effective recruiting methods (e.g., Internet, newspaper ads, employment agencies, college fairs).
  10. Organize and participate in on and off campus recruiting sessions and job fairs.
  11. Support with site succession planning/internal development and HRIS system updates.
  12. Work with site training group and HR team to ensure adequate on-boarding plans are designed and implemented.
  13. Occasional domestic travel may be required up to 15%.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  2. Four or more years’ technical recruiting experience in the injection molding manufacturing industry, managing the entire lifecycle (sourcing, interviewing, offer process) as well as data analysis, benchmarking, and reporting.
  3. Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for the recruitment of experienced professionals at all levels.
  4. Strong professional presence: proven ability to effectively deal with senior-level management.
  5. Must be assertive, take initiative, and be a proactive change agent.
  6. Must be able to meet tight deadlines and be flexible to changing workflow and demands.
  7. Proven ability in multi-tasking various projects.
  8. Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, problem-solving skills.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  10. Ability to work well in a matrix management structure (e.g., multiple decision-making leaders/organizations)

Preferred: Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience or injection molding recruiting experience.
