Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 380 employees.
Job Description
Management, control and further development of the warehouse and logistics organization with the aim of taking into account the departmental objectives.
- Personnel management with all relevant individual tasks (further development of the area , staff discussions, performance and potential assessment, performance management, ensuring induction, occupational safety, etc.)
- General organization of the area of responsibility (personnel deployment and requirement planning, KPI reporting, KST management, etc.)
- Planning and optimizing warehouse efficiency and warehouse processes
- Ensuring shipping processing (preparation of relevant documents, such as shipping
or customs documents for import or export)
- Ensuring forwarding arrangements
- Ensuring data management, inventory processing and regular inventory checks
- Ensuring effective fleet management
- Trustful cooperation with internal and external partners (e.g. production, SCM,
Qualifications
Knowledge acquired in the context of at least 3 years of technical or commercial
Vocational training acquired and expanded through relevant specialist training (e.g. logistics master, logistics specialist). This position requires at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position with management responsibilities and specialist knowledge in the area of customs/export.
