Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees. 

Job Description

 

  • Business Consultation:
    Advise site management on economic matters to support the achievement of short-, medium-, and long-term site goals.

  • Operational & Strategic Planning:
    Independently consolidate BU-specific operational and strategic plans (OP/SP/FC), ensure timely production controlling, and monitor budget developments (Management Review).

  • Risk Management:
    In collaboration with the site’s financial management, assess economic risks, create scenarios, and develop measures to achieve goals, supporting their implementation (e.g., through business plans or business cases).

  • Analysis & Reporting:
    Prepare analyses and reports based on requirements.

  • Project Control:
    Oversee financial controlling of projects, such as relocations or new projects.

  • Reporting:
    Ensure adherence to the defined reporting structure at the site, including monthly reviews.

  • Cost Reduction & Profit Increase Initiatives:
    Initiate, manage, and lead cost reduction and profit improvement projects.

  • Goal Alignment:
    Regularly track and consolidate goal achievement levels for each defined controlling unit (e.g., BU, PU).

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of a 3-year degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Specialized knowledge of controlling systems is essential.
  • Strong expertise in controlling, financial and investment planning, cost structure analysis, cost accounting (KLR), reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting, finance, cost-effectiveness analysis, auditing, and financial calculation.
  • Basic technical understanding to assess the value chain and influencing factors.
  • Familiarity with project management, risk analysis, and personnel controlling.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in complex situations.
  • Assertiveness and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Resilience, sociability, and a confident demeanor.
  • High personal integrity and conscientiousness.
  • Excellent entrepreneurial thinking and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in moderation and presentation.
