Job Description
Lehr Attendants are responsible for operating the powered lift truck and to double stack and move loaded pallets. Occasionally operate the walk-behind fork truck.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job effectively an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner - with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Check and read orders and e-mails for proper instructions.
- Keep the lines supplied with needed materials.
- Ensure all shrink wrapped module configuration and shapes match line orders.
- Change bags on API’s and OZ.
- Oversee and operate the API packing machines.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to understand, read, speak and write in English.
- Demonstrate ability to correctly detect and classify defects in glassware.
- Ability to work rotating shifts: 24-7-365.
- Ability to follow departmental and plant S.O.P.’s.
- Maintain general housekeeping and 5S.
