Job Description

Join our team as a Junior SAP Ariba Expert. This will be a technical / functional operations role within the Global Indirect Procurement team at our Medical Systems Business Unit. Successful candidate will be in charge of implementation, enhancements, changes and support of Ariba P2P. You make sure that our users can use the procurement platform successfully every day and get support they need in their day to day questions and situations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Works to identify, develop, implement, and maintain the Ariba system to align with business goals and objectives.
  • Strategize with various business units to ensure Ariba processes align with current business requirements.
  • Coordinates all system changes with the Procurement and IT Teams to ensure data integrity within Ariba & SAP.
  • Perform routine system testing and analysis to evaluate user adoption and identify system efficiencies.
  • Conducts on-site and digital user system training.
  • Creates and maintains all training materials and user documentation.
  • Review Ariba quarterly enhancements, implement features that improve the user experience.
  • Log and monitor technical issues through the Ariba ticketing system.
  • Setup of internal and external Catalogs with suppliers as well as creates custom forms in Ariba
  • Is part of the 1st Level Support Team for any issues related to Ariba

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or other related area of study preferred
  • Experience in Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Guided Buying and/or Sourcing
  • First Knowledge in technical writing (Test scripts, Functional/Technical requirements, etc.)
  • Proficient with Office productivity tools (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Core competencies, including Action Orientation, Commitment to Continuous Improvement, Verbal and Written Communication, Decision Making, Quality Ethics, Integrity, Values and Trust
  • A friendly customer service attitude and great attention to detail is a must
  • Must be able to work in the United States without Visa Sponsorship
