The German International School Dubai is looking for Arabic A/B and Islamic Teachers.

The role holder must have complete Arabic language and/ or Islamic training and an approachable personality.

The Arabic teacher will provide instruction in the Arabic language and culture to students, enabling them to gain knowledge and understanding of the language and culture. The Arabic Teacher will use a variety of teaching techniques and methods to create an engaging learning environment for students and will plan, prepare and deliver lessons, assess progress and provide feedback and support. They will also work with other staff and departments to ensure the best possible learning experience for their students.

In addition to this, you should be able to multitask. Your ability to work independently as well as collaboratively will also be considered.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering lessons to children from 6 years to 18 years in line with School and Curricula objectives
• Assessing, recording and reporting on their performance
• Maintaining accurate student records
• Developing teaching materials and resources
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of children

• A bachelor degree in Arabic and/or Islam
• Completed Teacher qualification in UAE
• Ability to teach students between ages 6 and 18 Arabic for Arabic speakers and/or for non-Arabic speakers, and/or to teach Islamic Studies in Arabic and in English
• Excellent command of the Arabic language and culture
• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Proficient in teaching methodology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Confident with MS Office

Remuneration is based on the salary guidelines applicable to the school and includes additional benefits such as housing allowance, an annual flight allowance and end of service gratuity.
