The Logistics Senior Manager Role will be in integral part of the Logistics Operations and Analytics team running Logistics operations across US geography including tools, data governance and translating all that into terms PC business clients can easily understand and use. The successful candidate will lead, train, implement, and improve Logistics and Routing concepts across PC business functions.

Responsibilities

The resource will work with a cross functional team and will maintain, analyse, make system /process recommendations, tender loads to carriers, support logistics analyses and to execute policy and process as required.

Supporting the day to day operations of the logistics operations team.
Responsible for routing of Inbound Shipments and shipments for Graphics, Fixtures etc.
Handling both planned and unplanned shipment management.
Handling inbound, wholesale outbound, domestic bypass shipments and pool liaison, utilizing the Transportation Management System.
Responsible for store support and UPS support as needed.
Analyze logistics costs against budget and trend, Issue data, report and KPIs to senior management.
He/ she will work on identifying cost saving initiatives in collaboration with Offshore teams and other customer partners as needed.
He/she will have to be a part of the RFP Processes with carriers and support the team and customer as needed during these processes.
Work closely with the carriers and resolve any pick up, in route and delivery issues (Late pickup/ deliveries).
Work as required with external and internal customers / stakeholders to improve cost accuracy and visibility.

BE/B- Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, BSc/MSc

Managing Transportation and Shipment functions
Minimum of 8 plus years in Logistics or Supply Chain in a retail environment
Good to have proficiency in a TMS
Good Understanding of RFP and Bid Process.
Understanding of inbound ocean and intermodal transportation
