The theatre hosts plays, superstar music acts and comedians as well as special events including; weddings, dance competitions, corporate events plus more. Join us as Special Events Manager to plan and execute these special events throughout the theatre building; on the stage, in the grand lobby or the numerous lounges to make the client’s vision a reality.

Job Description

Event Manager Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to contract and plan the details of their event from corporate events to dance competitions to weddings and more.
  • Manage event days onsite with detailed communication and event rundowns.
  • Provide clients with venue tours to visualize how an event will be executed.
  • Coordinate with other departments and vendors to meet client’s needs.
  • Follow-up on inquiries from marketing and advertising plan.
  • Keep an updated event calendar and track event inquiries, sources and status.

Qualifications

Event Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of wedding and / or corporate event planning experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
