Ensuring the show goes on! As Front of House Manager for The Genesee Theatre, you will oversee the team that provides audiences with an exceptional entertainment experience. Located in downtown Waukegan, IL, the vibrant performing arts venue hosts plays, superstar music acts and comedians as well as weddings, dance competitions, corporate events and more!

Hours – Part Time: During scheduled events

• Supervise the front of house staff, including ushers and ticket takers, to ensure an enjoyable experience for guests.
• Manage public areas of the theatre, including the lobbies, lounges and bar areas, and the main auditorium.
• Schedule staff for events and monitor, approve and submit staff hours to payroll.
• Train staff on roles and responsibilities and monitor for execution and consistency.
• Handle and respond to customer care issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work events at night and on weekends.
• Experience in theatrical, hospitality or front of house management preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
