The Genesee Theatre is an active and vibrant theatre located in downtown Waukegan, IL.  The theatre is a destination for children’s shows, plays, musicals and some of the biggest comedians and musical acts around.  The stage, grand lobby and numerous lounges are highly sought-after locations for weddings and corporate events.  This is your opportunity to help keep the lights and the shows alive at the Historic Genesee Theatre.

The Genesee Theatre has an opening for a Hospitality Attendant at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, IL.  This part-time position is responsible for providing exemplary service to clients visiting and performing at the venue. 

o    Set up food and beverages for clients in multiple locations. Restock, as necessary.

o    Ice down, re-ice, and dump ice from containers throughout the day.

o    Bus tables, wash dishes, and clean equipment.

o    Shop for food and other items that the client requests.

o    Call local businesses to ask for information or place orders.

o    Run errands and/or transport clients.

o    Perform all other duties as assigned.

o    High School diploma or equivalent required.

o    Flexible schedule with ability to workdays, nights, and weekends as needed.

o    Proven customer service skills.

o    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
