Descripción del empleo

Strength the relationship with the business areas, understanding their strategies and needs and suggesting best solutions

Solution Design and Development

·         Understand business requirements and translate that into IS language

·         Conduct meetings and workshops to detail business requirements, building up Functional Specification

·         Define solutions to address the business requirements

·         Work in close cooperation with the Solutions Managers and Infrastructure teams to guarantee the defined solutions are fully aligned with GenMills system landscape and architecture. Interact with LATAM and Global teams to be aligned with General Mills governance and finding similar solutions that could potentially be used

Demand Management

·         Manage IS demands assuring that it is delivered on time with the required quality and cost

·         Communicate project status to stakeholders

·         Interact with IS global consultants and analysts for system implementation and process optimization projects

·         Support change management activities

·         Provide, when necessary, support for critical tickets

Process Design

·         Generate and maintain documentation regarding GenMills processes

·         Work in close cooperation with the Business Process Owners in order to constantly evaluate the processes looking for optimization opportunities

·         Arbitrate together with the Business Process Owners in order to guarantee that the defined solutions are fully aligned with the GenMills processes and with the market best practices

·         Communicate user community regarding process changes

GBS Regional representative

·         Build Regional participation in Global Projects

·         Lead GBS strategic planning with clients to achieve value creation targets and a cohesive cross-functional plan for the region

·         Set priorities with the business

·         Promote the use of all GBS capabilities


>3-5 years direct work experience in Information Technology and Business processes areas

•              SAP certification is appreciated

•              Former experience in Finance processes is appreciated

•              Predisposition to teamwork and excellent interpersonal relationships

•              Experience in design and development of business applications solutions

•              Knowledge of LATAM specificities
