Job Description

The Key Account Manager is a member of the Sales Department and reporting directly to the National Key Account Manager, is responsible for managing and developing national key retail customers. Our KAM will plan and lead all sales related activities to ensure timely and effective execution of defined targets.


  • Negotiate annual agreements for Key Customers
  • Negotiate Promotional Plans and leads correct implementation
  • High capacity to build and adapt customer annual plans (Joint Business Plan)
  • Negotiate and coordinate new product launches with success
  • Experienced in demand planning
  • Experienced in Financial management and P&L optimization, responsible for optimization of Trade support budgets
  • Creates customized strategies to meet the specific needs of customers
  • Plans and anticipates for unexpected changes in the market place
  • Guides and supports the field force in the implementation of strategies
  • Identifies new business opportunities for all company brands

Competencies / Skills

  • Ability to develop strong and strategic customer relationships, with seniority to deal with Top Management
  • Strong Finance background and P&L management
  • Experience in Trade Marketing and Category Management (desirable)
  • Strong Growth and creative mindset
  • Highly oriented to results


Academic Education

  • University Degree Business Administration /Economics
  • MBA desirable
  • Minimum 10 years in Multinational environment (preferable FMCG industry)
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in managing Key Customers (preferable FMCG industry)
  • English required
