Job Description

The main scope of the Sales Support role is to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Sales Teams. We view these roles as a great opportunity to gain exposure to the Sales function. This could potentially open up an opportunity to move into entry-level Sales, but would dependent on the performance, attitude and agility of the successful candidate.

Main duties of the Sales Support role include:

  • Retailer related administrative support including updating customer databases, completion of promotional forms , data cleansing etc.
  • Training coordination eg. Ownership of  Sales induction plans (inc intro to business systems for all new sales employees)
  • Helping develop Sales support materials including co-ordination/ creation of comms for Account Managers.
  • Helping the Sales team co-ordinate key inputs eg. Samples, POS for larger events.
  • Raising POs using Coupa System
  • Administrative support related to internal processes – TPM.
  • Coordination of group international travel for Sales teams & CTM. (Individual/domestic to be picked up by employee)
  • Adhoc support for customer led events e.g. Grocery Aid Ball
  • Project Management – lower level project management as required
  • Support for Sales events; e.g. Sales Edge and wider company events e.g. NEC Conference.
  • Co-ordination of Grocer Subscription (including online) for NEC
  • Back up for other members of Business Support where required.
  • Retailer related administrative support including updating customer databases, completion of promotional forms, data cleansing etc.
  • Support of CCBPs as required.
  • Trade show support as required  e.g. artwork, staffing etc
  • Helping the Sales team co-ordinate key inputs eg. Samples, POS for larger events.

Qualifications

  • Previous success in an administration position in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent PC skills, including extensive knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good telephone manner
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Flexible approach to working and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Proactive and with a self-starter mentality
  • Team player – “can do” attitude
