Roles & Responsibilities
In this Northern Europe Cluster role, you will join the FP&A team, supporting the Leadership Team and Business Partners with the tools and frameworks they need in order to drive results and business performance, while working on some of the world’s most popular brands.
Financial Insights and Business Analysis
•Manage the delivery of regular reporting and planning processes across the Commercial Finance team and wider business including:
•Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of management reporting and financial insights.
•Execute Cluster month end close process; managing reporting and timelines, consolidating results, and delivering summary level drivers of performance to Cluster & Regional Leadership teams.
•Play a key role in Cluster monthly Financial Forecast process, including consolidating market forecasts, lead R&O adjustments, and liaise with Region FP&A.
•Support the FP&A Manager in co-ordinating the annual Spring Plan process including the co-ordination of financial adjustments required and submission of consolidated financials throughout the various stages of the process.
•Co-ordinate and prepare Cluster update presentations on an ad hoc basis
•Proactively develop reports, tools and insights to suit the requirements of stakeholders and business initiatives.
•Support the development, enhancement and roll out of Finance Systems, including influencing design, co-ordinating testing, and managing implementation.
•Responsible for the financial management and oversight of cluster supply chain reporting with a cost of sales budget >$400MM. Partners heavily with Supply Chain leadership to accelerate cost optimization and holistic margin management and waste reduction. Proactively leads and delivers relevant, actionable analysis and recommendations to supply chain leadership team.
Business and Process Optimisation
•Develop recommendations that promote continuous improvements and efficiencies in our monthly forecast process including the management of Risk and Opportunities
•Drive improvements in Cap Gemini (3rd Party Outsource Partners) FP&A service delivery.
•Drive “Right Work Right Place” initiatives including moving work out to GBS.
•Develop the Financial Acumen of Cross-Functional Partners
•Degree in Finance or Accounting, Finance Designations (CIMA, CPA, etc) a plus
•2-5 years of experience with progressive career growth in Finance, with a multinational company in the Global or Regional Headquarters and/or Market
•Ability to influence and advise business partners on financial matters
•Clear, concise and influential communicator (written and verbal). Ability to interact well with the Senior Management Team.
•Strong business acumen, analytical skills and results oriented
•Effective leadership and collaboration skills (Cross-functional, Markets, etc)
•Able to work well under time pressure and multitask
