Key Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering the company sales, shares and profit growth ambitions with Ocado/Grocery. This role has become strategically important as building block of a differential growth expected for the Northern Europe cluster in the next 5 years.

A key aspect of this role will be daily interaction with other functions within the business, therefore applicants will need to demonstrate success in working as part of a cross-functional team. The person will also have demonstrated capacity to be comfortable with uncertainty and a very strong entrepreneurial spirit.

•Prepare and deliver an annual sales plan for customer.

•Deliver financial and volume forecast accuracy on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

•Evaluate promotional ROI to ensure the most efficient use of promotional expenditure.

•Implement an agreed promotional plan within defined investment budgets.

•Drive thought leadership on our Categories within the Customer.

•Develop and recommend account strategies and tactics to maximize the sales and gross profit for both parties.

•Implement plans for excellent execution within the customer, liaising with key contacts within the Customer and internally.

•Work as part of the cross functional team to develop Customer Intimacy

 within the customer.

 

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications / Work Experience / Technical Skills

Degree caliber

Experience working with Ocado or on e-commerce FMCG retail desirable

Commercial experience in FMCG retail environment (Account Management or Buying)

Experience in working cross-functionally (especially Marketing, sales and supply chain)

Essential experience in Data / Analytics handling, interpretations 

Intermediate + Excel

Exposure or understanding of consumer and  Shopper marketing.

In touch with Digital developments and e-commerce

Passion for developing brands in fast growing environment
