The primary objective of this role is to lead the team responsible for the Supply & Demand Planning and Customer Service activities, including managing the inbound transport, supply management, daily management of the 3PL, and demand planning. In addition, lead the IBM process for the Irish business
Lead and develop the demand and supply planning in Ireland to the levels required to achieve the KPI’s set.
Lead the monthly IBP process
Provide analytics and support to the sales community to ensure the Demand Plan represents the most up to-date version of the truth
Pro-actively manage logistics cost & product waste ensuring the whole business is aware of any risks and are providing mitigating strategies
Strive for continuous improvement in the Supply Chain team looking at areas of potential where process and ways of working can be improved.
Unlock HMM opportunities
Manage the 3PL on a daily basis to ensure that all tasks required for a smooth operation are completed.
Product Life Cycle Management: supporting continuous improvement in the innovation pipeline, driving excellence in operational execution with customer planning, leading regular SKU rationalisation reviews.
Work with the UK Supply Planning teams to ensure maximum service across all brands
Provide insights / commentary for the monthly cluster DRM
Must be an active leader within the Irish Leadership team and the wider UK&I supply chain leadership team
Strong leadership capabilities both functionally and business wide
Proven experience (FMCG) – Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics
Strong systems knowledge – computer literate with a strong analytical capability (Excel, SAP & APO experience preferred)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Able to work cross-functionally
Proven project management skills.
