The role of Shopper & Trade Marketing Exec is a fantastic opportunity to support the development of the trade and shopper marketing strategy for the Convenience & Emerging Channel . Working closely with the sales team, the S&TM Exec will also have responsibility for supporting specific accounts ensuring retailer-centricity in the development and execution of all shopper & trade related activity in order to achieve revenue and profit targets.
Reporting to the Shopper Marketing Manager the key responsibilities of the role include:
•Supporting the SMM in developing, executing and post evaluating customer specific shopper marketing plans and being the continuous voice of the shopper for the GM brands.
•Leading the development and ongoing management of trade marketing tools and systems , including brand & shopper toolkits and retailer portals.
•Managing the execution of generic and retailer specific trade communication of GM initiatives via media including trade shows, retailer incentives, press, PR and trade presentations.
•Executing key customer shopper marketing events, via leading cross-functional teams and 3rd parties to deliver agreed KPIs within budget.
Key performance indicators ‘How will I know I’ve succeeded?’
•Achievement of annual sales, penetration, share and profit objectives of brand.
•Development of annual Shopper & Trade Marketing Plan within budgeted guidelines. and delivery against key metrics
•Foster positive internal and external relationships to develop a climate of enthusiasm and optimism for the brand.
Skills & Qualifications
•Business or Marketing Graduate
•Customer facing or retail experience beneficial
•Experience of collaborating and influencing others
•Project management experience, able to plan effectively and deliver on time
•Experience of working with data to analyze, evaluate and create recommendations
•Understanding of the difference between our Customers, Shoppers and Consumers
