•Act as an SAP technology leader within General Mills.
•Drive SAP lifecycle strategies around installations and support.
•Drive Disaster Recovery strategies and standards.
•Proactively maintain SAP instances to a standard level of service.
•Mentor others on the team and other technical teams within General Mills.
•Work with functional teams and the architecture team to determine best practices for future landscapes.
•Troubleshoot technical and performance problems.
•Patch and upgrade SAP instances and critical applications on an annual or bi-annual basis.
•Provide 24×7 on call support – approximately 3 weekends per year.
•Identify and develop documentation and training, supporting system or process changes.
•Establish and enforce GMI standards while assisting vendor installations.
•Willing to proactively and relentlessly dig into system health and system issues.
•Willing and able to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
•Proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
•Strong technical and problem solving skills.
•Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technology.
•Ability to work in a team environment and across a matrix organisation.
•Ability to plan, organize, lead, and implement new processes or technology.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to influence and mentor others.
•Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012 and/or Linux operating systems.
•Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
•Working knowledge of networking.
•Experience with any of the following-- ABAP, Linux, Windows Server, IIS, Java, Tomcat, VMWare, and
use of F5 Big IP load balancers are desirable but not required.
