Job Description

The Role

Key Objective

The primary objective of this role is to manage the team responsible for the Supply & Demand Planning
activities, including managing inventory strategies, daily ATP, and demand planning
. Providing input to monthly IBM process.


Frequent Contacts: UK&I Sales & Marketing Teams, Commercial Finance, Customer Demand Planners, General Mills  & Yoplait Factories, and External partners (3PL’s)

Key Dimensions: World Foods & BFYS represents £160m of the total business, working with approx. 200 SKU’s, working with the San Adrian manufacturing facility, and through the external supply chain with 3 co-packers




Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of 2 demand and supply planners to the levels required to achieve the KPI’s set.

Work within the monthly IBP process to ensure that an accurate sales forecast is created.

Strive for continuous improvement in the Supply Chain team looking at areas of potential where process and ways of working can be improved.

Product Life Cycle Management: supporting continuous improvement in the innovation pipeline, driving excellence in operational execution with customer planning, leading regular SKU rationalisation reviews.

Work with the San Adrian Planning logistics team to ensure timely arrival of stock, managing key events and Co-Packers requirements

Provide management reports to be reviewed at the Exec on a monthly basis.

Qualifications

Desired: Qualifications/Skills/Experience

  1. Degree Calibre
  2. Proven experience (FMCG) – Demand Planning, Supply Planning
  3. Strong systems knowledge – computer literate with a strong analytical capability (Excel, SAP
    & APO experience preferred)
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills
  5. Able to work cross-functionally
  6. Proven project management skills.
