Company Description

For over four decades, Genea has set the standard in Australian fertility treatment, helping individuals and families achieve their dream of a family, delivering above national average success rates while remaining passionately committed to the individual behind every result. With 50+ specialists across Australia, we've built our reputation on two things that matter equally: the best clinical outcomes, and the greatest compassion in delivering them.

We're building something different: comprehensive, authoritative patient education that genuinely helps people navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives.

Job Description

We're looking for a creative Content Specialist who sits comfortably at the intersection of research and accessibility, someone who can transform complex medical information into clear, trustworthy patient education without losing the depth that matters.

This isn't about surface-level blog posts. You'll create in-depth guides, frameworks, and answers to the real questions patients are asking, content that establishes Genea as a trusted authority and empowers people to make informed decisions about their fertility care.

What You'll Do

Content Creation (80%)

  • Write in-depth patient education across fertility treatments (IVF, IUI, ICSI), reproductive health conditions (PCOS, endometriosis, male factor infertility), and diverse fertility pathways
  • Translate medical research and clinical information into accessible, patient-friendly content
  • Deliver across formats: website copy, long-form articles, medical article synopses, social media, and print collateral
  • Ensure every piece is medically accurate, evidence-based, on-brand, and properly sourced

Strategy & Optimisation (20%)

  • Apply E-E-A-T principles to meet Google's quality standards for health content
  • Implement best-practice SEO and structure content for maximum discoverability
  • Contribute ideas to content strategy and emerging formats as you grow in the role
