Job Description

Currently we are in the market for Medical Receptionist to join our Newcastle clinic on a part time basis 2 days a week Thursday and Friday as well as be available for holiday and sick relief as required. Our clinic hours are 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 12pm Saturday. 

This role will see you providing support to our Fertility Specialist as well as front desk reception and administrative support to the clinic. As you will be the first point of contact for patients, you will be someone who is patient-focused, courteous and understanding. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is well organised with attention to detail and who can ensure a welcoming environment for our patients.  

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced receptionist/administrator for this role, someone who is confident in working on a front desk reception while providing a range of administrative support tasks.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent administration skills, confidence with learning new systems, the ability to work in a busy role, with exceptional customer service skills (this is key to the service & care we provide our Genea patients). 

Flexibility will be key to your success in this clinic and the ability to work in a team environment. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and polite phone manner and a high level attention to detail. 

Understanding of confidentiality requirements for a medical practice.

Having excellent computer skills (email, word and excel) and the ability to learn new software is essential.
