Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Execution Engineer to execute Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Industrial Digitalization projects across manufacturing industries. The role involves implementing real-time production monitoring solutions by integrating industrial hardware, sensors, PLCs, and software platforms within existing manufacturing facilities.
The selected candidate will coordinate site execution activities, commission systems, validate production data, and ensure seamless integration between shop-floor equipment and digital applications while collaborating with production, maintenance, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
Execute MES and Industrial Digitalization projects at customer sites.
Coordinate installation of industrial sensors, gateways, networking devices, industrial PCs, and edge hardware.
Perform PLC tag mapping, signal validation, and live data acquisition from industrial equipment.
Integrate field devices with MES platforms, dashboards, and production monitoring applications.
Support PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication system integration.
Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, and Profinet.
Execute testing, commissioning, FAT, SAT, and customer acceptance activities.
Validate production counts, machine status, quality parameters, and dashboard accuracy.
Troubleshoot hardware, communication, networking, and field integration issues.
Prepare project documentation, commissioning reports, asset mapping, and technical reports.
Coordinate with cross-functional customer teams to ensure timely project execution and successful system handover.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and production monitoring.
Understanding of Industrial Automation, PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and Control Systems.
Experience with industrial instrumentation, sensors, and field device integration.
Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Good communication and customer coordination abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively for project execution.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in the following will be preferred:
Manufacturing industries such as Glass, Automotive, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Cement, Steel, or other Process Industries.
Brownfield automation or digital transformation projects.
MES implementation, Industrial IoT (IIoT), production monitoring, and industrial commissioning.
Hands-on experience with PLC-based systems, industrial networking, and shop-floor data integration.
