About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to lead a long-term migration project focused on moving reporting and analytics from Power BI and Business Objects to Looker. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern data warehousing, data modeling, and BI platforms, with the capability to lead and mentor a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Data Warehouse migration initiative from Power BI / Business Objects to Looker.
• Design, develop, and optimize data models, semantic layers, and Looker dashboards.
• Work closely with the tech team to ensure alignment with business requirements during the transition.
• Oversee data validation, performance optimization, and quality assurance throughout the migration.
• Guide and mentor additional team members as the project scales (2–3 future additions planned).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery across a 6+ month timeline.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Data Warehousing, data modeling, and BI implementation.
• Hands-on expertise with Looker & LookML; familiarity with Power BI and Business Objects preferred.
• Ability to lead projects and teams, with strong communication and coordination skills.
• Experience working with enterprise data architectures and large-scale reporting systems.
