SAP ABAP Consultant

**Job Type:** 6 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension)

**Role Overview.
We are seeking an experienced **SAP ABAP Consultant** with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting SAP applications. This is a **6-month contract** role with the potential for extension, working exclusively from our offices in Gurgaon, Bangalore, Kolkata, or Udaipur. The candidate must be willing to work flexible shifts as per business demands.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop complex custom SAP ABAP programs based on business requirements.
- Perform ABAP programming, testing, and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and work closely with functional teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business requirements.
- Perform code reviews and optimize performance for ABAP reports, forms, interfaces, and enhancements.
- Develop technical specifications and documentation.
- Work on end-to-end SAP development, from requirement gathering to go-live.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for SAP system integration and enhancements.

**Required Skills and Experience:**
- 5 to 10 years of experience in **SAP ABAP** development.
- Proficiency in **Reports, Forms (Smart Forms/SAP Scripts), BDC, BAPI, BADI, ALE/IDocs,** and **User Exits**.
- Experience with **SAP Fiori** and **OData services** is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules like **SD, MM, FI/CO, PP,** etc.
- Experience in **Performance Tuning** and **Code Optimization**.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Shift Details:**
- Shift timings will be flexible and aligned with business requirements. Willingness to adapt to different time zones as necessary.

**Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

**Contract Details:**
- **Duration:** 6 months with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
- **Work from Office:** This position requires you to be based out of our offices in Gurgaon, Bangalore, Kolkata, or Udaipur.
