Job Description
Position
Scope/Objective
The Marketing Director is
responsible for defining and developing the overall strategic marketing product
positioning, and new products launch. This position will take the lead to
identify the market trend, competition and product development, work with sales
and R&D groups to drive growth in research reagent market. The focused
market will be catalogue antibody, catalogue protein, catalogue ORFs, protein
analysis reagents and research cell lines.
Responsibilities
Lead
the product marketing team, including product managers and technical writers,
to achieve annual product sales goalsEstablish
KOL and organize scientific seminars and connect them to GenScript’s R&D
and product development groups to identify new product ideas and test new
productsMaintain
a user-friendly e-commerce and the product website with strong scientific
contentResponsible
for leading and developing members of marketing team including performance
management, talent and career developmentWork
effectively across all departments, including Marketing Team, R&D, Production,
Customer Support Team and Sales Team
Qualifications
At least Master’s degree in a life science
disciplineAt least 3-year
experience in Marketing or equivalent 5-year commercial role experience (Sales,
Project Manager, etc.) in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Prior
managerial experience in a commercial setting is a MustSolid
understanding of product line management, e-commerce, and brandingSolid understanding
of research market, especially catalog antibody, protein or protein analysis
reagents. Catalog antibody product experience is a MustExcellent people skills to effectively interact with internal and
external customers from diverse backgroundsExcellent verbal
and written communication skills
