Job Description

Looking for a UI/UX developer to be a part of a large integration project across their sites.

This position will be responsible for the digital user experiences for client across several sites. This position is also responsible for infusing industry leading design techniques into each innovation that is produced by the department.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Gather and document functional requirements for upcoming web and mobile project meetings.
  • Evaluate, create, or modify the user experience of new and existing websites and applications using human centered design methodology.
  • Create digital assets for all digital user experiences.
  • Develop sample content in a variety of ways (alone, in teams, and/or through the supervision of others) for the purpose of completing design mock ups for presentations to stakeholders.
  • Conduct audience and market research as needed
  • Develop strategies based on survey analysis; and gather statistical and demographic information of the organization's target audiences as requested. Assist in evaluating website(s) and associated marketing.
  • Work closely with web, software programmers, and system administrators to ensure proper technical integration of the project requirements.
  • Stay abreast of innovations in UX best practices, tools and topics of interest to the UX community and help to infuse them back into the organization.
  • Develop rough interactive prototypes for desktop/mobile application interfaces to hand off to web development and programming teams.
  • Make recommendations for general improvement of application systems as it relates to information technology department.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • IT literate - Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe products like Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and InDesign are required.
  • Clear understanding of developing high impact presentations that facilitate strategy endorsement and buy-in.
  • Excellent project management skills and organizational ability.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-through. Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently on long-term projects. Ability to lead as well as work as part of a team.
  • Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of accomplishing goals through others and the ability to apply these principles in a business setting.
  • Proficient in Both Mac and PC Platforms.
