We are currently looking for a Senior Tax Specialist.
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of all tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, etc.) prepared by external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
- Review and analysis of tax calculations, tax provisions, and supporting documentation.
- Preparation of tax conclusions and internal tax memos.
- Application and understanding of TP principles in line with Luxembourg and OECD guidelines.
- Support in TP documentation, intercompany transactions, and risk analysis.
- Support on VAT queries and specific business cases.
- Liaise with Luxembourg tax authorities and foreign tax authorities on all relevant matters.
- Close communication with global service providers (accounting firms, advisors, auditors, etc.).
- Collaborate effectively with other internal departments (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Business Units).
- Analysis and assessment of tax risks for existing and new operations.
- Identification of tax optimization opportunities and improvement of tax processes.
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes in Luxembourg and in countries where group subsidiaries operate.
- Preparation of internal tax reports and summaries for management.
- Support in audits, due diligence processes, and cross-border transactions.
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Luxembourg, with exposure to international tax
- Solid understanding of Luxembourg direct and indirect tax frameworks.
- Experience coordinating or reviewing tax work.
- Proven experience handling tax audits and interacting with authorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage several priorities across jurisdictions.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
