Mekanika is a leading operator in the Building and Engineering Services Industry, specialising in mechanical and electrical contracting, BMS, ELVs, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products and facilities management. Due to further expansion, the above-mentioned career opportunity has now arisen.
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Delivery Man. Reporting to Lift Installation Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Collecting orders of required materials from various sites;
- Collecting local materials suppliers, and distributing them as required to sites;
- Record-keeping and coordination of all activities associated with material management;
- Mobilisation of personnel, installation equipment and tools to new sites;
- Reporting to superior any site, stores, damaged / repair and stocks materials related issues;
- Management of waste collection with collection contractor from sites;
- The manufacturing of primary steel supports and bracketing materials for lift shaft partitions and landing doors;
Qualifications
The ideal applicant for this post should have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar post;
- Understands both English and Maltese;
- Has a hands-on approach to work;
- Is organised, able to multi-task;
- Be in possession of a C and C1 driving license.
