Mekanika is a leading operator in the Building and Engineering Services Industry, specialising in mechanical and electrical contracting, BMS, ELVs, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products and facilities management. Due to further expansion, the above-mentioned career opportunity has now arisen.

Working as part of an existing team, the selected candidate would be expected to perform the following duties:

• Undertake servicing, maintenance and repair of any mechanical equipment at client’s premises, on site and at the Company’s workshop;
• Undertake installation and commissioning of any mechanical system and equipment, ranging from air compressor, high pressure cleaner, forklift truck, marine engine;
• Dismantle, repair, and overhaul mechanical plant items such as pumps and compressors;
• Carry out electrical fault diagnoses on mechanical equipment including any programming / adjustments which may be required;
• Compile maintenance and service logs and other relevant records.

The selected candidate will preferably:

• have a relevant Diploma in Mechanical Engineering;
• be skilful at diagnosing and carrying out repairs at component level;
• be familiar with micro-processor controllers as used domestically and industrially;
• be an effective team player;
• be able to work to high standards of customer care and satisfaction.

Previous work experience in a related field would be considered advantageous, but fresh graduates will also be considered and will be given on-the-job training.
