Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance while acting as a technical reference point for industrial products, supporting customers, internal teams, and suppliers alike.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building, managing, and developing a strong client database for the Industrial Products portfolio.
  • Meeting customers to understand commercial and technical requirements and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Preparing, presenting, and following up quotations, with a strong focus on closing sales.
  • Taking ownership of assigned industrial product lines in relation to the local market.
  • Provide technical support and expertise on industrial products to customers and internal teams.
  • Assist in product selection, troubleshooting, and application recommendations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop technically sound and commercially viable proposals.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and contributing to technical training sessions for clients where required.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and supplier developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers and ensuring product knowledge remains current and relevant.
  • Contributing to sales action plans aimed at improving revenue growth and profitability.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have a technical background and possibly have experience working in a similar environment.
  • Have a strong understanding of industrial equipment, machinery, or related products.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be proficient in the English language (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be conversant in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
