Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Safety & Logistics Coordinator to support field operations, warehouse activity, and fleet performance.
This role is a mix of safety leadership, operational oversight, and logistics coordination — ideal for someone who thrives in the field and can manage multiple moving parts across job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance:
- Monitor safety systems, fleet platforms, and jobsite reports to identify risks and unsafe behaviors
- Conduct jobsite, warehouse, and vehicle safety audits and inspections
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; document findings and corrective actions
- Track and follow up on safety corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies
- Maintain safety documentation, OSHA logs, and training records
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding support
Fleet & Operations Oversight:
- Monitor fleet activity including driver behavior and vehicle inspections
- Review Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) for accuracy
- Support fleet safety programs and compliance initiatives
Logistics & Material Coordination:
- Responsible for delivery of materials to job sites
- Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and field teams for all deliveries
- Ensure job sites are fully equipped with necessary materials
- Identify and resolve delivery or supply chain issues
- Improve efficiency in material handling and transportation
Field Support & Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with operations, installers, and leadership teams
- Identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Communicate safety and operational updates clearly across teams
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in safety, construction, logistics, fleet, or field operation
- CDL Class A Required
- Fleet management experience, OSHA certifications preferred.
- Experience with jobsite coordination, deliveries, or warehouse operations preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA or DOT regulations is a plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
