We are seeking an energetic and motivated Video Production Manager (Volunteer) to support our video team. The Video Production Manager would be in charge of seeing video projects through from concept development to post-production & delivery, assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the charity's vision and is suitable for broadcasting. 

The successful candidate will be experienced at editing and producing video content as well as managing production and post-production teams. This candidate will also be responsible for managing the current in-house video team and guiding the strategic growth of our video department.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee video pre-production planning
2. Align on priorities with the marketing, operations, & social media content marketing teams
3. Manage workflow for video edits inclusive of cuts for all platforms including US social media
4. Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
5. Suggest design and production solutions as needed to deliver on time and up to brand standards
6. Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary
7. Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
8. Manage and coach in-house video team, be a creative lead on video concepts, shoot and edit video content.
9. Report the status of projects to Managers and stakeholders

Requirements:

1. Able to donate approx.10 hrs. a week for 12 months  
2. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment)
3. A minimum of 1-year experience leading projects or coaching small teams
4. Experience or willingness to communicate with the team through Discord
5. Knowledge of shooting and editing videos with a strong portfolio 
6. Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms
7. Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
8. Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
9. Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
10. Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
11. Creative mind and storytelling skills
12. Experience with live streaming is a plus
