Job Description
As an IT Manager at Gameloft, you will support a diverse range of teams—including artists, designers, programmers, QA, and administrative staff—to ensure their workstations, software, and technology tools run reliably and efficiently. You'll lead our IT Support Technicians team while helping to plan and maintain the studio's IT infrastructure, anticipate future technology needs, and deliver secure, effective solutions that enable our teams to do their best work. Working closely with local and global stakeholders, you'll oversee day-to-day IT operations, drive continuous improvements, manage vendors and IT assets, and help maintain a secure and resilient technology environment as the studio continues to grow.
What it means on a daily basis
- Manage the local IT team by coaching team members, setting clear expectations, evaluating performance, and supporting their professional growth.
- Provide technical support for users, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage hardware and software inventories, ensure IT resources remain secure and compliant, and provide reporting as needed.
- Work closely with the IT Director, Global Infrastructure, and Information Security teams to enhance standardization, operational efficiency, and security across Gameloft.
- Manage the installation, deployment, and licensing of software packages.
- Use monitoring tools such as Grafana to proactively monitor infrastructure health and performance.
- Manage virtualization platforms to optimize resource utilization and server performance.
- Oversee on-premises infrastructure, core services, and network operations.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Studio Manager and IT Director to ensure alignment with studio and company priorities.
- Take a hands-on approach by assisting with hardware deployment, equipment relocation, and shipping as required.
- Partner with studio leadership, including the Studio Director, to influence technology strategy, infrastructure planning, and operational decisions that support the studio's long-term goals.
- Participate in planned after-hours work when required to perform maintenance, upgrades, deployments, or respond to critical incidents while minimizing disruption to studio operations.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance IT processes, systems, and the overall technology experience for the studio.

You'll build a high-performing IT team that delivers reliable, responsive support while maintaining a secure and efficient technology environment for the studio. You'll be a trusted partner to studio leadership and global IT teams, driving continuous improvements, ensuring infrastructure and IT assets are well managed, and delivering practical technology solutions that enable our teams to create great games.

Qualifications
What you need to succeed
- Proven experience in an IT leadership role, with experience leading or mentoring a technical support teams
- Strong knowledge of Windows server and desktop environments, networking, virtualization, and on-premises infrastructure.
- Experience managing IT operations, including hardware and software lifecycle management, asset management, and software licensing.
- Solid understanding of IT security best practices, system monitoring, backup, and business continuity.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Exchange Online.
- Experience developing or maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Grafana.
- Experience supporting game development or creative studio environments.
- Relevant Microsoft, VMware, or other industry certifications.
