Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
As an IT Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end technology projects, such as tool implementations, system migrations, or other infrastructure and key service initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while aligning business needs with IT solutions and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
What it means on a daily basis
- Manage end-to-end IT projects, from initiation to delivery and closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Define and manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budget, and maintain detailed project plansto ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating collaboration between business teams, IT teams, and external vendors, while providing regular progress updates.
- Track project performance and handle risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, escalating major blockers as needed and guiding governance activities (e.g., steering committees)
- Ensure on-time delivery and adoption of solutions by coordinating testing, validation, user acceptance, and supporting deployment and change management activities

Who you would be working with
You will report to the Unit 42 PMO Manager, based in Montreal. You will primarily work with Unit 42 teams, while also collaborating with the broader organization, as Unit 42 operates within the Strategy Transformation team.
Your recruitment journey
1. HR Screening (30 min): A first call to discuss your background, motivations, and suitability for the role while answering your initial questions.
2. Hiring Manager Interview (1h): An in-depth discussion with the manager about your skills, experience, and how you would contribute to the team’s daily operations, as well as an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about the role and team.
3. Final Strategy Interview (1h): A meeting with the team to discuss previous missions and how they translate into day-to-day activities.
Where this role can take you
You will have the opportunity to grow into a Senior IT Project Manager or IT Product Manager role, while deepening your knowledge in enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies. You will work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making. Over time, you will play a key role in shaping how technology enables business success and deliver measurable results through the delivery of high-visibility initiatives.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience managing IT projects end-to-end (in gaming or technical environments)
- Experience in budgeting and financial tracking
- Solid understanding of IT environments (infrastructure, cloud, software development, cybersecurity)
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
WHO YOU ARE
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experienced in coordinating and prioritizing numerous responsibilities simultaneously
- Skilled in problem-solving and resolving conflicts within project teams
