Job Description
As a Mobile UI Artist, you will be responsible for designing, producing, and implementing engaging user interfaces that elevate the player experience. You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and programmers to deliver intuitive and visually striking UI that fits both the creative vision and the constraints of mobile platforms.
Main Responsibilities
- UI Design & Production: Create menus, HUDs, and visual assets tailored for mobile devices.
- Integration in Unreal Engine: Implement and optimize UI assets directly in the engine (UMG, Blueprints).
- Cross-discipline collaboration: Partner with Game Designers and UX Designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into interactive, polished visuals.
- Optimization & consistency: Ensure performance on mobile devices, maintain accessibility standards, and guarantee consistency with the project’s art direction.
- Innovation & research: Explore new UI/UX approaches, anticipate trends in the mobile market, and contribute to the studio’s creative proposals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a UI Artist in video games, ideally on mobile titles.
- Artistic skills: Strong sense of graphic design (typography, color, layout, motion design for UI).
- Technical skills: Proficiency with Unreal Engine (UI/UMG, Blueprints) and awareness of mobile constraints.
- Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma (or equivalent). Motion design skills with After Effects or similar are a plus.
- Soft skills: Creativity, attention to detail, technical rigor, teamwork, and autonomy.
- Language: Professional English (international environment).
